Wednesday Word

Led by Mrs Woodward, each Wednesday children in Reception and KS1 are invited to come and join ‘Wednesday Word’.

Allowing children to listen to the Sunday Gospel and discuss it, supporting our vision to celebrate, share and live out our faith through deeper Scriptural engagement.

These sessions help children to:

  • Develop a habit of prayer and reflection on the Word of God
  • Form hearts and minds to hear and understand the Word of God the following Sunday
  • Put the Word of God into the home of every child in our Catholic school
